A weekend on Grinda

Meet the animals at Grinda Agriculture! Come here for pony riding, horse & carriage and animal activities. If you want to stay overnight at Grinda, Grinda Wärdshus is a short distance away!

Grinda Agriculture is run as a small-scale agriculture. The animals graze in the nature reserve and thus preserve and restore old cultural land. The animals currently on the farm are cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens and rabbits.
Several of the animals are from Swedish country breeds Fjällkor, Gotlandsruss and North Swedish farm horse, Linderödsgrisar, Jämtgetter, Gotland rabbits. All year round, pony rides are offered, as well as quiet pleasant rides in nature for adults and children on a small scale, horse & carriage / sleigh rides, and other farm activities such as being involved in the daily care of the animals.
It also usually includes a small assortment of farm products such as eggs, lambskins and sausages.
Stay at the Wärdshuset, the beautiful hotel rooms located just behind the Wärdshuset with only a few meters walk to the restaurant, bar and breakfast room. The hotel rooms are located in 4 large houses. Here is all the comfort you need and you get to sleep very comfortably ! All rooms have a shower and a toilet. The beds are placed as a double bed with separate beds which you can pull apart.
